The original stuffs are always better.

The manga is always better because it's the original.
But for Blood+, the case is entirely different. The anime was the original.

I only watch the first episode of the anime and I already like it better than the manga. The beginning of episode one already answered half of my question as to what happened in the Vietnam war. It also have a better beginning.

Some deaths had been changed in the manga and some characters don't even appear in the manga at all. Some character's personaility were also toned down alot in the manga. For example, Hagi & Solomon. And for goodness sake, Hagi is an important character!

The anime also shows Saya's relationship with Hagi better and more in detailed, and really, Hagi is already 50x better than his manga counterpart.

Nonetheless, Blood+ is an amazing series.
